Profile coming soon.
I started back in the day coming to the shop with my father, John Richey, on the weekends hanging out and helping him repair vehicles which led to a part time job after school sweeping floors, cleaning the shop and not touching any vehicles. At that time it was frustrating, but taught me a very valuable lesson, no one starts at the top if they want to be successful.
My hobbies include spending time with my family, racing, working on everything, and gaming. This business has helped me along the way see and do so many things that I would have never had the opportunity to see if my grandfather, James L. Richey, would not have started this business in 1955.
Finishing up, I am very thankful for everything that this business has given me from the above to getting to meet different people every day that I may be able to help. I appreciate your time checking out my bio, and if I can be of any assistance to you, please feel free to contact me.
I have grown up in and around the collision repair business since I can remember. Always disrupting things and getting in the way as a kid when I would head to the shop with my father, John Richey. I would spend time in the shop with my father and brother doing whatever they needed me to do. Trying to learn anything and everything I could.
I graduated from Seymour High School in 1995 and spent a year at IU. College was just not for me. I knew what I wanted to do and that was to be back home working at the shop. After coming home from college I immediately started working as a detailer at the shop. I was low man on the totem pole and did whatever was needed. I worked my way up through the different departments trying my hand at them all. There is an art to everything we do from sweeping the floors and washing cars to repairing and refinishing them. I eventually worked my way to the front office and became an estimator.
I am currently Co-President of Jim’s Body Shop, Inc. It makes me extremely happy and humble to have the chance to keep growing this business my Grandfather, Jim Richey and Father, John Richey worked so hard to build. Together with my brother and our great crew we hope to continue serving as Jackson County’s premier and longest running collision repair facility.
